Emily C. Moises Day Training Center

The Emily C. Moises Day Training Center was established in 2004 to provide help with independence, safety, daily living, and employability skills. It offers classes in computers, music, cooking, dance, art, theater and fitness.

The program was established in memory of Emily Moises a nineteen-year-old Miami native. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, doing community service and everything that was fun. Emily spoke four languages.

She attended Miami High and USF where she was an honor student. She received many scholarships and tributes.

It is in her remembrance, compassion, sense of excellence and love of life that the center is dedicated to her dreams of service to the community.
