Audio Books

Many people, for very different reasons, prefer to listen to a book rather than
reading it. In this fashion they can enjoy it in the car, while cooking, while exercising
or while doing any other type of physical work or while relaxing. It is also the only
option available to those with sight or motor disabilities.

Audio books may be housed in cassettes, CDs or in computer files, and can be heard in cassette players, CD players, computers or in mp3 players. If the audio book has been placed in a computer file, and if you do not wish to sell its content, then it can be readily sent via email or made available to download from your web page. If you wish to sell it, then it can also be offered on your web page for download after payment to a credit card or through web-based payment companies such as PayPal.

Alexandria Library offers to turn your book into an audio book.
